Who We Are

A Community That Feels Like Home

Since 1980, Anshai Torah has been the spiritual home for the Dallas Jewish community, evolving through the merger of Anshai Emet and Shomray Torah to serve over 550 families today. We’re guided by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, welcoming Jews of all backgrounds—everyone is welcome.

At Anshai Torah, we are committed to exploring our Jewish heritage together through spiritual, educational, cultural, and social activities. Our doors are open to the community for daily minyans, Shabbat services, and a variety of programs. Our Preschool, Religious School, and After School programs foster a love for Jewish rituals, heritage, Israel, and the Hebrew language, from toddlers through 12th grade. Here, every member has the opportunity to experience the joy of Jewish living.

    DeReKH provides 7th-12th graders with an enriching Jewish education, combining dynamic classes, service projects, and memorable trips to New Orleans, Manhattan, and Israel. Students grow together and create lifelong friendships.

    Hazak offers adults 55+ a welcoming community to connect, enjoy enriching activities, and stay engaged. Through social events, educational programs, and service projects, Hazak keeps you connected to the people and Shul you care about.

    Congregation Anshai Torah offers a nurturing Jewish preschool for children ages 3 months to 5 years. We cater to diverse family needs with flexible full and part-time scheduling options. Our preschool is committed to personalized care, maintaining low child-to-educator ratios to ensure each child receives individualized attention.

    Creating Time For Families

    The Hangout is an afterschool program designed to provide a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for students. We offer school pickup, and certified teachers assist with homework, so when you get home, you can focus spending quality time as a family.
