About Us
Congregation Anshai Torah has been the spiritual home to the Dallas Jewish Community since 1980 when Anshai Emet was formed. In 1998 Congregation Shomray Torah was formed and later that year the two merged to form what is now Congregation Anshai Torah. We now provide spiritual, educational, cultural, social activities, programs, and services to more than 550 families.
Guided by the principles of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Anshai Torah welcomes Jews of various backgrounds and traditions - married, single, families with young children, teen children, and no children, and those who are young or just young at heart.
Anshai Torah is open to all and members of Anshai Torah are privileged to have many opportunities to experience the joy of Jewish living. Our doors are open to the entire community for most of our programs and activities, daily minyans, and Shabbat services. Our Religious school provides our members with a love of our Jewish heritage, rituals, and the Hebrew language, spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade.
For more information about membership at Anshai Torah, contact us at membership@anshaitorah.org. We will be happy to meet with you, show you around our synagogue, and discuss opportunities to join this wonderful congregation.
